Cantuun – Spielkritik

Im Dezember letzten Jahres fragte uns Patrick Jerg an, ob wir Ihm ein Rezensionsexemplar von Cantuun senden könnten. Patrick Jerg gründete 2010 das brettspielblog.ch um Spielkritiken aus der Sicht eines normalen Anwenders zu schreiben. Natürlich sendeten wir Ihm ein solches, da auch für uns solche Praxisberichte spannend und aufschlussreich sind. In diesem Sinne möchten wir uns auch bei Patrick bedanken, dass er unser Spiel Cantuun getestet hat.

Hier das Fazit von Patrick Jerg

Cantuun ist wirklich ein sehr schön gestaltetes Spiel mit vielen Fragekarten. Der Weg ist dabei das Ziel. Es gibt noch sehr viel zu erfahren über die Schweiz, beiCantuun bringt aber auch Halbwissen Punkte. Die Fragen erstrecken sich von Geografie, Statistik bis hin zu Prominenten. In dieser Vielfalt kann bestimmt jeder Spieler einmal seine Stärke ausspielen. Zudem agieren immer alle Spieler gleichzeitig. Cantuun ist ein schönes Familienspiel und fordert Erwachsene gleichermassen wie Kinder. Geringe Schweizkenntnissen sind dabei natürlich von Vorteil. Auf dieser vielseitigen Reise lernt man die Schweiz kennen. Cantuun spielt sich flüssig, ist kurzweilig und lehrreich – ein gelungenes Werk!

Helvetiq in Cooperazione

They also thought it fun to compare the size of panettone to the tiny little pieces of MyPuzzle Lugano that they managed to put together nevertheless!

Was walking up Newbury Street in Boston the other day. International Poster Gallery was once again featuring three swiss vintage posters in the window. This time, I decided to go in and ask why. It turns out they are running an exhibition that includes lots of great swiss posters. Completely floated my boat! visit online and enjoy.

Le jeu des 7 erreurs ☺

Nous écrivons cette note pour vous informer que nous venons d’éditer une planche d’autocollants pour le jeu Pictolingua. Celle-ci permet de corriger des erreurs qui se sont glissées dans les plateaux de jeu en italien et allemand.

En effet, nous avons été très déçus de trouver quelques erreurs dans le jeu. Nous avions envoyé certains mauvais fichiers à l’impression sans nous en rendre compte. Après la déception, nous avons choisi de corriger au plus vite en réalisant cette planche d’autocollants et en l’insérant dans tous les jeux encore en notre possession. Tous les jeux commandés après le 19 octobre contiennent la fiche. Si vous possédez un jeu qui ne contient pas les autocollants, merci de prendre contact avec nous pour la demander (contact@redcut.ch). Elle vous sera envoyée gratuitement bien entendu.

Das Spiel mit den 7 Irrtümern ☺

Wir schreiben diese Anmerkung um Sie zu informieren, daß wir soeben eine Karte mit Aufklebern für das Spiel Pictolingua hergestellt haben. Diese erlaubt Irrtümer zu korrigieren, welche sich auf die Spieltafeln auf italienischer und deutscher Sprache eingeschlichen haben. Was wir natürlich äusserst bedauern. Wir hatten fehlerhafte Dateien zum Druck gegeben, ohne, dass dies uns bewusst war.

Nach der Enttäuschung haben wir uns entschieden dies möglichst schnell zu korrigieren indem wir eine Karte mit Aufklebern gedruckt haben und diese allen Spielen in unserem Lager nachträglich beigelegt haben. Alle nach dem 19. Oktober bestellten Spiele beinhalten diese Aufkleber. Wenn Sie ein Spiel besitzen das keine Aufkleber enthält, bitten wir Sie uns zu kontaktieren (contact@redcut.ch) damit wir Ihnen diese kostenlos senden können .

The game of the 7 errors ☺

We are writing this short note to inform you that we have just created a set of stickers for the game Pictolingua. The purpose of these stickers is to correct the mistakes that were found in the Italian and German game boards.

We were very disappointed about discovering these errors in the game. We had sent some incorrect files to the printers without realising. After the disappointment, we chose to quickly correct our mistake by creating these stickers and by integrating them into all the games that were still in our possession. Stickers are included in all games ordered from October 19th on. If the game you have purchased has not got the stickers, please get in touch with us in order to ask for it (contact@redcut.ch). We will send it to you, for free of course.

BÄRNDÜTSCH

What is the capital of Switzerland? Excactly: Bern. And whats their dialect called? Bärndütsch. Lots of Swiss love this dialect as it sound really cozzy and likeable. Actually I would go so far to say that its the most popular dialect in Switzerland.

Like all dialects this one comes also with lots of words that the people from other swissgerman parts dont understand. But lots of the young people from Bern would probably understand it neither.

So therefore there is a Bärndütsch dictionary: http://www.berndeutsch.ch/ With lots of incredible words like fääre (last year), Ottomane (couch), Weifäcke (hawkbit) and many more.

Lausanne, where to live?

About two weeks ago, Lausanne’s Place de la Riponne was turned into a giant camping with tents all over. And why is this? For a couple of years now, about 500 students are unable to find a place to live for the beginning of university courses in September.

I am currently looking for an apartment in Lausanne and however stressful it is, I still have a quite fun anecdote to share, something I had seen nowhere else before.

Yesterday, 5:30 pm, I was walking towards the building in which I was about to visit an apartment. Nothing new to that. But, when I finally found it and arrived at the door, three people were standing outside. At that moment, I guessed the building door was locked and they must have been waiting for the person to come and open for the visit. Wrong! A closer look through the glass door and I realized there was a long queue from the hallway all the way up the stairs to the door of the apartment. About 40 or 50 people queueing up in line to see the same apartment. I stood in line and waited, almost feeling as if I were waiting in line for the X-Factor casting given the amount of people. Everyone let out a nervous laugh each time the door opened and someone new joined the line.

What chance does one stand to get an apartment in those conditions?
